Little Rock Board of Health

The Little Rock Board of Health was organized in 1878 to protect the health of citizens of Little Rock, Arkansas. The board formed to promulgate and enforce an order quarantining the city against a yellow fever epidemic with epicenter in New Orleans to the south.
