Little Rock Air Force Base

The Little Rock Air Force Base is located on the previous site of the Arkansas Ordnance Plant. The air base was established in 1955 on six thousand acres of land. The effort to bring the base to Little Rock was spearheaded by Everett Tucker of the Chamber of Commerce.
