Hugh Pollard was president and CEO of advertising firm Brooks Pollard and Associates. Clients included TCBY, Riverside Furniture, Riceland Foods, Delta Pride, and Kroger.

Pollard was also president of the local Little Rock Jaycees in the late 1960s. His father is advertising executive Al Pollard, who established Brooks-Pollard in 1942. The company history can be traced to the Robert H. Brooks Company established in 1915.
