Harvey C. Couch (1877-1941) was founder of Arkansas Power & Light Company, now called Entergy.

Couch established the North Louisiana Telephone Company in 1900. He sold the company to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1911. Two years later he formed the Arkansas Power Company. Couch developed electrical generating capacity by building the hydroelectric Remmel Dam and Carpenter Dam. In 1926 he merged his company with Mississippi Power & Light Company and the Louisiana Power Company.
