Frederic W. Trapnall was a Little Rock citizen and member of Christ Church, an Episcopalian church in downtown Little Rock.

Trapnall was born to Philip and Nancy Trapnall in rural Mercer County, Kentucky on May 23, 1807. He died in Monticello, Arkansas, on July 4, 1853.
