Frank Botsford

Frank Botsford was chief of police of Little Rock, Arkansas, from 1874-1875 and again from 1883-1891.

Botsford was born in Onondaga County, New York, to Amazeah Bradford and Emily Thrall Botsford. He was raised in Port Huron, Michigan, and Waukegan, Illinois. He participated in the Gold Rush to California. He moved to Arkansas to become warden of the state penitentiary in December 1869.
