Fourche Junction is an unincorporated town in western Perry County, near the border with Yell County. The town is located at the intersection of Arkansas Highway 60 and Arkansas Highway 7. The town is on the eastern end of Nimrod Lake, and borders the Ouachita National Forest. Nearby are four recreation areas: County Line Recreation Area, Quarry Cove Recreation Area, Project Point Recreation Area, and River Road Recreation Area.
