David E. Kendall is President Clinton's personal attorney. He has also served as a lawyer for the Clinton Foundation. Kendall became professionally involved in the fight over the release of the Foundation's donor list soon after the pardon of Marc Rich. Said Kendall at the time, "Any demand for a list of our donors would be flagrantly violative of the First Amendment and we would resist it."
