The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) is part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs health care network. CAVHS operates the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital on the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, which serves as an educational affiliate for the training of new physicians, and the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center at Fort Roots in North Little Rock.

McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital is located at 4300 West Seventh Avenue in Little Rock. The Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center is located at 2200 Fort Roots Drive in North Little Rock.
