August House was a publishing company located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The company was established by Ted Parkhurst and Jon Looney in 1978. The two formed August House to publish poetry. Looney left the firm the next year. The press soon moved into other areas of interest, including folklore, fiction, Arkansas history, and children's literature. The company moved several times, eventually settling in the Little Rock River Market in the late 1980s.

August House relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2006.
