Arkansas Literacy Councils, Inc. (ALC) is headquartered at 525 West Capitol Avenue in Little Rock. The nonprofit organization was founded in 1971 to improve literacy in the state and support local literacy councils. The councils provide free tutoring to adults with deficits in reading, writing, or math.
