Alan Leveritt is publisher of the Arkansas Times alternative weekly newspaper. He co-founded the newspaper in 1974 with a group of college friends. Leveritt also publishes El Latino, Arkansas AutoBuyer, New Home, the Little Rock Visitor's Guide, and Fashion City.
In 2006 Leveritt was chairperson of the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies.
