Silas T. Toncray

Silas T. Toncray was perhaps the first Baptist minister to settle in Little Rock. In July 1824 Toncray established the Church of Jesus Christ and organized the Association of Regular Baptists in the area. A log-cabin Baptist Meeting House was constructed in 1825.
