William P. Strait was a Morrilton, Arkansas general practice attorney in the firm of Strait & Strait. His partner in the firm was Audrey Strait.
Strait was born in Ola, Arkansas, on January 18, 1870. He was educated at Belleville College in Belleville, Arkansas, and in a private law firm. He was admitted to the bar in 1896. He served four years as the mayor of Morrilton, and was also a member of the Arkansas legislature, prosecuting attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.
Strait & Strait were attorneys for the Bank of Morrilton, the Missouri Pacific Railroad, the Cotton Oil Company, First National Bank, the Morrilton Wholesale Grocery Company, and Arkadelphia Light & Power.
