David Martin is chief executive officer of advertising agency Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Between 1981 and 1988 worked for both Cranford Johnson and Area Market Research Associates (later called Sygnis). Martin did political polling and political analysis for national and state campaigns. He was an on-air election pollster for ABC, CBS, NBC, and C-SPAN.

In 1993 Martin left Cygnis to found the consulting firm Martin Corporation. Martin Corporation conducted public opinion research, government relations work, and strategic marketing. Clients included EDS, IUSACELL, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, NATO Expansion, Nortel, SAIC, Sandia National Laboratories, The Southern Company, Taiwan Securities, and the XENAL Corporation.

Martin became CEO of Cranford Johnson in 2006 after almost twenty years with the firm.
