Ali Krisht

Ali F. Krisht is professor and vice-chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at UAMS. He is also a neurosurgeon at the Gamma Knife Radiology Center, and director of the Neuroendocrine Clinic and Cerebrovascular Clinic at UAMS.

Krisht was born in Kano, Nigeria, on September 17, 1959. He received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine. He received his training in neurosurgery at Atlanta's Emory University School of Medicine. Krisht is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Medical Association of Arkansas, the North American Skull Base Society, the Southern Neurological Society. He is currently the editor of Contemporary Neurosurgery.
