The Central Arkansas Transit Authority (CAT) is a public utility that controls the rail and bus transit system for the City of Little Rock. CAT was formed in 1986. The executive director of CAT used to be Keith Jones. Betty Wineland became Executive Director on Jan. 1, 2007.

CAT bus rides cost $1.25. Thirty-one day passes are $34; $17 for seniors and the disabled.
