Sharon Priest is former Arkansas Secretary of State. From 1986 to 1990 Priest served on the Little Rock Board of Directors. She became Vice-Mayor of Little Rock in 1989, and Mayor of Little Rock in 1991. Priest is also notable as the first woman elected Arkansas Secretary of State, in 1994.
