The Halliburton Houses were constructed as rental homes for Tom Halliburton, conductor on the Missouri Pacific Railroad. The townhouses, located next to each other at 1601 and 1605 Center Street, are virtually identical. The fronts of the homes are in the Colonial Revival style. Two-story bays in the back are in the Queen Anne style.
