Barbara Hendricks

Barbara Hendricks is a famous lyric soprano from Little Rock, Arkansas. Hendricks completed a bachelor of science in mathematics degree from the University of Nebraska. She then began studying with Jennie Tourel at the Julliard School of Music where she received a bachelor of music degree. Hendricks began performing with the San Francisco Opera in 1974. She also performed with Covent Garden, La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Paris Opera.
