The Koehler Bakery Company was established at 711 Main Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1919.

The company occupied the Koehler Building at 711 Main until 1946 when it acquired nearby properties at 709, 713, and 715 Main Street. In 1971 the company moved its main distribution activities to a location on Warden Road in Sherwood.

In 1999 Mercantile Bank filed for foreclosure on the bakery, citing a default on a promissory note filed the prior year. The company was family owned until the bankruptcy sale in 2001. The bakery is now owned by Sweet Goods Inc. of El Cajon, California.
