Woolly Hollow State Park

Woolly Hollow State Park is an Ozark foothills state park northeast of Greenbrier, Arkansas. The park is accessed by following Arkansas Highway 285 east from its intersection with U.S. Highway 65 north of the city.
The park wraps around forty-acre Lake Bennett, named for first U.S. Soil Conservation Service director Hugh H. Bennett. The lake was constructed in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Progress Administration as the first USCS erosion control demonstration project in the country.
There is a beach on the north shore of the lake, as well as a dock with paddle-boats for rent, a children's playground, several shelters, and many picnic tables.
