The Saline County Library System is composed of two libraries: Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton, Arkansas, and Bryant Public Library in Bryant.

The original Saline County Library was established by the Benton Junior Fortnightly Club on the second floor of the Walton Building in downtown Benton in March 1931. The library moved next door to the Benton City Hall on April 3, 1936. The collection was moved again in 1946 to the Gann Memorial Library on Market Street. (This building is now the Gann Museum of Saline County.) The library moved into the Palace Theater building on January 23, 1967.

Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library is located at 1800 Smithers Drive.

Bryant Public Library opened in February 1969 on Mills Park Road. The present Bryant Library was constructed in 2001-2002.
