Albert L. Fletcher

Albert Lewis Fletcher (1896-1979) was fourth bishop of the Diocese of Little Rock. In reaction to the Brown v. Board of Education decision of 1954, Bishop Fletcher decided to desegregate some of the private Catholic schools in the state of Arkansas.
