YWCA

The YWCA had two segregated affiliate clubs in the city of Little Rock. The whites-only downtown YWCA was located at 120 East Fourth Street beginning in 1941, before becoming office space for the Rose Law Firm. The blacks-only Phyllis Wheatley YWCA was on Ninth Street in the African-American business district of the city.
The YWCA today operates the Bess Chisum Stephens YWCA at 1200 South Cleveland Street.
