Edward Mary Fitzgerald (1833-1907) was the second Roman Catholic bishop of the Little Rock Diocese. Fitzgerald was installed in February 1867. He dedicated St. Andrews Cathedral on November 27, 1881. Fitzgerald created the parish of Saint Edward's Catholic Church in 1883. The diocese at the time held four parishes, five priests, and 1,600 Catholics. Notably, Fitzgerald created the first "colored" Catholic church in the state in May 1894 at Pine Bluff.

Fitzgerald was succeeded by Tennessean John B. Morris in 1906.
