Capital City Business College

Capital City Business College opened in 1927 above Central Cafe at the intersection of Third and Center streets in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas.

The college was once located at 800 Louisiana Street. The for-profit institution, which did not offer degrees, moved in 1981 to 7723 Asher Avenue. It received North Central accreditation in 1987, before declaring bankruptcy in 1990. The school, then known as Capital City Junior College, closed its doors permanently in March 1994 after being denied access to federal student loan funds under Title IV.
