Dewell Gann Sr. (1859-1945) was a prominent early physician in Benton, Arkansas. His original doctor's office now houses the Gann Museum of Saline County.

Gann was a Freemason. According to folklore he was mummified at death and buried in a gold trimmed casket with a golden rosary, two bags of gold coins, gold rings, and other items valued today at more than a million dollars.

Gann was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 31, 1859. He died in Benton on September 25, 1945. Gann is buried in Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.

Gann's son Dewell Gann Jr. became a Little Rock surgeon.
