Union High School

Union High School was a so-called "colored" school located on State Street between Sixth and Seventh streets in Little Rock, Arkansas. English teacher Carrie Still Shepperson, protesting Jim Crow segregation, raised funds for a library open to African Americans by staging productions at the local Kempner Opera House.
