Louie Petit was the Belgian head waiter at the Restaurant Jacques et Suzanne on top of the Regions Bank Building in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Petit helped open the upscale French restaurant in 1975. In 1985 Petit opened his own restaurant Maison Louis, which closed five years later. In 1990 he opened Cafe Prego in The Heights neighborhood. Petit now lives in Destin, Florida, and operates the Red Bar and Piccolo at Grayton Beach.
