While the sanctuary is being constructed services continue at the [[Prospect Theater]]. The new sanctuary opened on December 24, 1950. The Education Building opened in January 1954. Shamblin Chapel opened in 1955. The Youth Building (Norma Story Children's Building) opened in 1959. The Woodlawn Therapeutic Day Care Center opened in 1973. The James B. Argue Christian Life Center was constructed in the mid-1980s. The Nixon Disciple Center opened in 2004.
