Charles Bussey Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas, is named for the first African-American mayor in city history. The street was formerly known as 20th Street. The street was renamed on August 13, 2005. Charles Bussey served in the Little Rock Mayor's Office in 1981 and 1982. Bussey was also the first African-American city manager, a position he achieved in 1968.
