The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is the official cancer research and treatment institute in Arkansas. It is affiliated with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and is located on the UAMS campus in Little Rock.
History and Mission
The institute was founded in 1984 as the Arkansas Cancer Research Center.
Apart from providing cutting-edge cancer treatment and engaging in cancer research, the institute also conducts various clinical trails, free cancer screenings and other cancer-related activities.
