University Park is a neighborhood centered at the intersection of Cleveland and Twelfth avenues in Little Rock. The area was annexed by the city in 1961.

From 1964 to 1977 the area was redeveloped under the Central Little Rock Urban Renewal Project. Two hundred and eighty two acres were revitalized west of University Avenue and south of Wilbur Mills Freeway. One of the most prominent sources of blight was a sawmill.
