Commercial College was established in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1872. The business college stood at the intersection of Second and Main Streets in the late nineteenth century. Students enrolled in courses on bookkeeping, penmanship, commercial law, business correspondence, business arithmetic, business practice, and grammar of the English language.
The school had several departments: the Business Department, Short-Hand Department, Type-writing Department, Telegraphy Department, and Classical Department.
