The Shoppach House is the oldest surviving building in Benton, Arkansas. The house was constructed in 1852, and is reputedly haunted. It was used alternately by Confederate and Union forces as a headquarters during the Civil War.
Shoppach House is located in Shoppach House Historic Park at 503 North Main Street. The park also contains Pilgrim Rest Church, built around the time of the Civil War, and the 1940s-era DeTonti Post Office.
