The Mosaic Templars of America was a fraternal organization founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1882 by former slaves John Edward Bush and Chester W. Keatts. At its peak in the 1920s the organization had 100,000 members in twenty-six states, the Caribbean, and Latin America. The Mosaic Templars went out of business in the Great Depression.
