Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is the chief environmental department of Arkansas state government. The current director of ADEQ is Teresa Marks.
ADEQ Headquarters
The ADEQ headquarters are located at 5301 Northshore Drive in North Little Rock. The LEED and Three Green Globes certified building was completed in August 2007 at a construction cost of $21.5 million. The lead architect on the 116,800 square foot structure was Taggart Foster Currence Gray Architects. The associate architect was Williams and Dean Architects. The site includes an outdoor classroom amphitheater, bike paths, and drifts of wildflowers.
