George H. Wittenberg Sr. was the first registered architect in the state of Arkansas (in 1919), and co-principal of the firm Wittenberg, Delony, and Davidson. Wittenberg designed several noteworthy buildings in the state, including Little Rock High School.
Wittenberg was married to Minnie G. Wittenberg. His son, George H. Wittenberg Jr., and grandson, George Wittenberg III, were also local architects.
