The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is the official cancer research and treatment institute in Arkansas. It is affiliated with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and is located on the UAMS campus in Little Rock. The Pat and Willard Walker Tower houses the Cancer Institute. The twelve-story tower was completed in two stages in 1989 and 1994.
Apart from providing cutting-edge cancer treatment and engaging in cancer research, the institute also conducts various clinical trails, free cancer screenings and other cancer-related activities.
