Gary Johnson runs the city-owned Hope Visitor Center and Museum. He has been quoted as saying that about three-quarters of the visitors to the center are coming as part of a "Billgrimage" to the Clinton Library in Little Rock. Johnson lives in Bill Clinton's second home in Hope, a house at 321 East 13th Street. His mother, Elaine Altenbaumer is chair of the Clinton Birthplace Foundation.
