Joseph "Joe" Rantisi is the general manager of the Capital Hotel. In 2004 Rantisi cited the Heifer International headquarters and the Clinton Libraries as two likely big draws to his hotel. "The Clinton Library and Heifer are going to help tremendously. Little Rock will become a destination ... It's been a hard fight [to get to this point], but we're making it."

In 2006 Rantisi donated the kitchen equipment pulled during a renovation of the hotel to the Our House shelter.
