The Arkansas Historic Wine Museum is located in PAris, Arkansas. It was founded by Robert G. Cowie in 1994. The mission of the Arkansas Historic Wine Museum is to uphold the heritage and tradition of wine making in Arkansas. The fact that it is the only wine museum in the entire U.S committed to recognizing the wine heritage of every winery in Arkansas is what makes it historical.
The museum holds valuable artifacts from the past and present. The history of WIne in Arkansas is traced all the way back from the early explorers of Europe to Catholic priests who carried wine with them while traveling to celebrate with. Because the museum is full of wine collected from all over the state, the wime bottles are known to be labeled with interesting names such as, "Sure Shot","Sailor Girl","Big Daddy",and "Eight BAll".
Other wineries in Arkansas include:Mount Bethel WInery,Cowie Wine Cellars,Chateau Aux Arc Cellar,Post Famillie Winery, and Wiederkher Wine Cellars. The Arkansas Historic Wine Museum branched out in March 2006. Hot Springs, Arkansas became the second home of the Arkansas Historic Wine Museum. The Winery of Hot Springs is located on 11503 Central Avenue. People are free to visit the musum any day of the week.

The archives of women in science and engineering keep record of the achievement of American women with careers in science and engineering. The achievements of the women within this field are so valuable because women were originally not allowed to go into prestigious male- dominated career fields such as science and engineering.
The goal of the women in science oral history project is to produce a collection of oral interviews to keep on record and become a part of the archives of women in science and engineering. So, if anyone wants to know about women’s history and highlights in relation science and engineering starting from the 20th century this particular archive would be available.
The WISE Archives provide great documentation of the various obstacles women had to face when trying to have a career in science. The oral interviews were more beneficial than the written records because the interviewer was able to clearly emphasize who was involved and all partly involved could be heard. The archives not only conducted interviews but they gathered papers of American women scientists and researchers. They really wanted to present a clear picture of the experiences of women in the science and engineering.

The Children Abuse Prevention Association’s main goal is to put an end to child abuse through strengthening relationships and promoting healing amongst those children who have been neglected or those that have been physically or sexually abused. The members within this organization commit themselves to various programs and services to assist with the funding needed to provide treatment for abused children. For example, they will be hosting a “Blue Tie Affair” in April of 2011. This is just one of the many programs they offer. They also promote educational prevention programs as an effort to help individuals become more aware of abuse and the different signs of abuse.
Their vision is to make every child and family receives help without delay when contacting child abuse services. They also want new parents to have the opportunity to build a strong support system and create a nurturing environment for the child to strive in, and to elaborate to their entire community that they each have a responsibility to report and help prevent abuse.
The theme of CAPA is “A Home for Every Heart”. They adopted the theme from Mother Teresa who spent a lot of time among the starving and homeless. They believe when children experience physical or emotional neglect, they develop a bitterness that sticks with them throughout their lives. As a result, this would eventually lead to more distress and loneliness in the child’s adult life. Those neglected children will become people whose hearts have no home. However, CAPA wants to prevent this from happening. So, they are proud to be in the business of building homes for the heart.
