Robert T. Mills was born on May 4, 1918 in Conway, Faulkner county, Arkansas to parents Louis Mills (Jan. 29, 1883 – Nov. 6, 1968) and Nettie Treece Mills (Dec. 3, 1887 - Feb. 9, 1959). Mills was brother of C. Maxine, P. Alphia, K. Louis, and V. Lawrence Mills. Captain Robert T. Mills
