Major Charles E. Darr
February 25, 1944 - December 21, 1972
Personal History
Major Charles Edward Darr was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. Darr was married to Donna Darr, and they had a daughter, Allison L. (Darr) Carroll. Allison now has two sons and one daughter.
Military History
Major Darr served in the United States Army from 1969-1972. He served with the 340th Bomb Squadron, 72nd Strategic Air Wing in Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Darr did his basic training and officers training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Darr was promoted from 1st Lieutenant to Major while missing in action in Vietnam.
