Chief Petty Officer Adam L. Brown

February 5,1974 – March 17,2010

Personal History

CPO Adam L. Brown was born in Hot Springs, AR to Larry and Janice Brown. He also lived in Virginia Beach, VA. He was a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy, AR. He married his wife Kelley and together they had two children, Nathan and Savannah.

Military History

In 1998, Brown joined the Navy. He was apart of various East Coast-based SEAL teams and was deployed in many combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Death

On March 17, 2010 CPO Adam L. Brown was involved in a fight in with heavily armed militants in Afghanistan and died in combat.

Honors and Awards

Brown was awarded a bronze star and a purple heart.
