He attended Arkansas State Teachers College beginning in September of 1940 and graduated in May of 1943 with a bachelor of science. Sims also attended Drexel Institute of Technology at Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity while he was a student at Arkansas State Teachers College. &lt;br /&gt;

Sims entered the military on May 31, 1943. He trained at the Infantry at Camp Fannin in Texas, and then went on to serve the Army Specialized Training Program Infantry in Europe.&lt;br /&gt;

Hamberg entered the military on September, 30, 1941. He served at Camp Robinson in Little Rock with the Military Band, anti-tank company of the 30th Infantry of the 3rd Division with the 5th Army, and the 7th army. He trained at Anzio Beach Italy, France.&lt;br /&gt;

He was known as “Cowboy” because of his interest in rodeo work. He spent two summer vacations riding for the Clyde Miller Rodeo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Foster entered the Army Air Corps in January of 1944. He served in England as a transport pilot. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Foster was killed in a plane crash in Bretwood, England on February 10, 1945.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
