UCA Honors College OnLine - Regional & National Leadership

Among the hundreds of honors programs and colleges in the United States, the UCA Honors College leads the way in faculty development, student opportunities, and educational technology. Through the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), we are helping other programs emulate our groundbreaking work with online communities and information management. Representatives from colleges across the country visit us to learn how to start honors programs or take theirs to the next level. According to guidelines developed by the NCHC, UCA's Honors College ranks as one of the most fully-developed sites in the country for honors education. UCA Honors is the home of the Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC), and we host its website. Dean Rick Scott is President Elect of the NCHC and will Chair the national conference in Boston in November, and Director of Undergraduate Research Phil Frana is Executive Secretary-Treasurer of SRHC. The Honors College hosted the Annual Meeting of the SRHC in March 2011.
