About the Alumni Association
The UCA Honors College Alumni Association was formed in 2004, and in 2007 we became a chapter of the UCA Alumni Association. Its purpose is to promote the welfare of alumni of the Honors College and to perpetuate and broaden the ties between the Honors College and its constituency. It seeks to do this by providing support for the activities of the Honors College and by providing opportunities for the alumni to maintain contact and form a community. An Honors College alumnus has a diverse range of experiences and perspectives critical to the life of the current Honors community. Alumni are encouraged to engage in mentoring and teaching current students, fundraise for scholarships, serve as thesis advisors and readers, and act as liaisons for securing VIP lecturers. With just over 1000 alumni, we now graduate 105-110 per year.
